FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Restore & Perform Physical Therapy is proud to announce the opening of its state-of-the-art clinic located within the Athlete Lab, bringing a revolutionary model of personalized physical therapy to the local community, starting June 1st.
Founded by Sara R. Scott, PT, DPT, Restore & Perform was built on the belief that every client deserves dedicated, one-on-one time with a licensed and experienced physical therapist – without distractions, aides or the limitations of traditional, insurance-driven care models. Each session is fully individualized to help clients heal faster, move better, and return to doing what they love most.
“Our mission is simple: to treat each client as an individual,” said Scott, who started playing hockey three years ago to get a deeper understanding of her athletic and active clients. “That means no overlapping appointments, no handing you off to techs or aides—just high-quality, hands-on care from a skilled therapist every time.”
In addition to her broad expertise in movement science and manual therapy, Scott has devoted herself to gaining a personal understanding of what it takes to perform as an athlete. As an adult-onset hockey player and former college judo competitor, she actively pursues firsthand experience in the physical demands of competitive sports. She is deeply involved in the Suburban Ice community, having started her hockey journey at Suburban Hockey Schools Breakfast Club, and continuing with participation in the Suburban Ice W.A.H.L.
“I am thrilled to be able to bring my involvement in the Suburban Ice community full circle and offer high-end physical therapy services to the Athlete Lab, Suburban Ice athletes, and the active community members of the surrounding area,” said Scott.
Sara’s elite athletic rehabilitation experience includes Olympians, professionals, collegiate athletes, competitive combat athletes, and recreational athletes of all skill levels. Her career experiences have led her to be uniquely equipped to help competitors of all levels prevent injury, recover effectively, and enhance performance with thorough assessments, expert manual therapy interventions, and movement-based rehabilitation.
Restore & Perform operates as an out-of-network provider, which means the clinic gains greater freedom for treatment without the barriers imposed by commercial insurance contracts. This ensures that each patient receives the time and care they need. The clinic will always provide the documentation necessary for clients to submit claims to their insurance on their own, and traditional Medicare is accepted.
Located within the cutting-edge Athlete Lab, a world-class high-performance training and sports science center, Restore & Perform is ideally positioned to serve competitive athletes and anyone committed to their long-term health and performance.
Restore & Perform Physical Therapy is now accepting new clients.
